It is amazing to listen to the Muslims saying that they are tired of reading! In fact, reading is one of the best hobbies that are owned by somebody. But really sad to know that most of us are not introduced to the books amazing world. These are some of the reasons for us to start this habit ... before you get left behind in everything.

1 Reading is an active mental process. Nothing like sitting in front of an idiot box (TV, Playstation, etc.), reading makes you use your brain. When reading, you will be forced to think about a lot of things you do not know. In this process, you will use the gray cells of your brain to think and become smarter.

2 Reading will increase your vocabulary. You can learn how to think the meaning of a word (you did not know) by reading the context of other words in a sentence. Books, especially challenging, will reveal to you so many words that might otherwise not know.

3 Reading will improve concentration and focus. You need to be able to focus on the book you are reading for a long time. Unlike magazines, Internet or e-mail that contains only small pieces of information, the book will tell the whole story. Therefore you need to concentrate to read. Like muscles, you will be better in the concentrate.

4 Build confidence. The more that you read, the more knowledge you have gained. With increasing knowledge, will further build confidence. So it was a chain reaction. Because you are a good reader, people will seek you out to look for an answer. You feel about yourself, the better. [But remember, sincere remains the way to achieve success, and be careful of the attitude of proud self. Give thanks always to God for a piece of knowledge that you have].

5. Improving memory. Many studies have shown that if you do not use your memory, you can lose it. Crossword puzzle is one example of a word game that can prevent Alzheimer's disease. Reading, although not a game, helps you stretch the "muscles" of your memory in the same way. Reading it requires memory to detail, facts and figures on a piece of literature, plot, theme or character of the story.

6 Improving discipline. Finding time to read is something that we already know to do. However, anyone who makes a schedule to read a book every day? Just a little. Because of that, add the activity of reading books into your daily schedule and stick to the schedule will improve the discipline.

7 Enhance your creativity. Reading about the diversity of life and exposing yourself to new ideas and new information will assist the development of the creative side of your brain, because your brain will absorb the innovation into your thinking process.

8 Reduce boredom. One of the habits I have is, if I get bored, then I would take a book and start reading it. What I find to hold on to this habit is, I became increasingly interested in a discussion of the book and I have not bored anymore. I mean, if you get bored, you will feel better by reading a good book, is not it? If you want to break the monotonous feeling lazy and uncreative lives and boring, then go and take a fascinating book. Open the pages and explore a new world full of information and intelligence.

Do not forget to read the Qur'an
Thank you for reading.
